Work with product managers and designers to assess project needs and develop appropriate research plans to support their objectives
Conduct on-site, remote, and in-field studies with current and prospective Bread merchants and customers
Provide usability and value tests for products under development
Work closely with data analysts to integrate qualitative research methods with ongoing quantitative research such as surveys, A/B, and multivariate testing
Share tangible findings and prioritized recommendations with the teams on a regular basis
Evangelize methodological rigor, standards for research in Bread’s product development, and across the company
Manage third-party research vendors as necessary
What we are looking for
Must have:
5+ years of experience in user experience research, incorporating both qualitative and quantitative methods
Strong collaboration skills and solid instincts about when to hold the line on methodological rigor and when to adapt to the changing demands of a project
Strong sense of curiosity and desire to represent the voice of our customers
You demonstrate an in-depth understanding of qualitative and quantitative research methods, user-centered design principles, and a solid grasp of contemporary trends in Web and app design
Can hold your own in a meeting and present with a customer-centric POV
Are self-motivated and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
4-year college degree or equivalent education, training or experience
Experience working on both B2B and B2C products
Nice to have:
Have a degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Human Factors or a related discipline
E-commerce or financial services experience
Experience with SQL, Qualtrics, remote testing tools, communication design
