The Small Business & Self Employed Group (“SBSEG”) is Intuit’s largest business unit with $3.5B+ in revenue, serving 6M+ customers worldwide with the QuickBooks ecosystem of accounting, payments, payroll, capital, and time tracking solutions.

About the SBSEG Strategy Team:

We are responsible for developing strategies that accelerate long-term growth of our QuickBooks franchise and for partnering with country/segment leaders to drive successful execution. While our business has been successful in our core markets and segments, our total addressable market worldwide is a largely untapped at 800M+ potential customers, and we are excited about the numerous greenfield opportunities. Our scope includes:

  • Identifying opportunities and developing growth strategies for new offerings, customer segments and/or geographic markets
  • Ongoing partnership and guidance as teams test & operationalize the strategies and refine approach based on results
  • Optimization of our investment allocation to balance short and long-term growth objectives
  • Development of our 3-year and 1-year strategic and financial plan
  • Articulation of our strategy & business trajectory for the Board and external stakeholders

The team has significant exposure to senior leaders across Intuit, and is accountable for both strategy and successful business execution. This operational component and ability to directly drive long-term value offers greater career growth opportunities and momentum than is often found in professional services.

What you’ll bring

To be successful in this role, candidate should have:

  • 5+ years of experience, including at least 3 years in strategy consulting, corporate strategy, or investment banking
  • Well-rounded interpersonal skills with the capacity to build relationships with senior stakeholders and collaborate across with team members across varying levels
  • Self-motivation and willingness to proactively take on leadership roles within a project
  • Ability to quickly synthesize qualitative and quantitative information, structure a concise and clear presentation of findings, and articulate recommendations to an executive audience
  • Strong intellectual curiosity and deep desire to learn
  • Analytical orientation, creativity in problem solving, and keen business judgment

Core responsibilities include:

  • Lead strategy projects and new initiatives end-to-end, with limited guidance, from initial hypotheses to recommendation to operationalization
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to formulate strategy, ensure stakeholder alignment and guide execution
  • Create the narratives and drive Board presentations/business reviews to ensure alignment and guide decisions that accelerate our growth
